Partí un zapallo mediano del huerto y dentro había un perro. Seguro permaneció en el interior de aquel calabazo alimentándose de sus naranjas entrañas desde que era una flor.
Crié al cachorro bautizándolo como Zapallo. Pasé años con él, un dócil y fiel perro. Cuando ya cumplía 17 años conmigo falleció, supongo que de viejo.
Lo enterré en el patio. A la semana brotó una planta. Hoy veo un zapallo, y no sé que hacer.
